Community
It's what we do.

If you are a school, we offer a special coupon program designed to encourage good scholarship/citizenship among students. We provide local schools with certificates good for a free Frazil or Guzzler fountain drink. The certificates are provided to the teacher, and the teacher can award them to the “student of the month”, or “most improved”, etc. If your school is near a Fastrip and you are interested in our School Certificate Program, don't hesitate to get in touch with us through our form.
Fastrip has a long history of being a responsible, contributing member of the community. We believe in “giving back” to the communities we serve. Over the past 40 years, our stores have raised or donated in excess of $500,000 to local charities and events. Our independent Fastrip operators and managers are actively involved in the local community, sponsoring teams, supporting schools, and contributing to local events. In the last few years alone, Fastrip stores have raised over $50,000 for the MDA. Our targeted charities for 2012 are MDA, Children’s Christmas, and the Bakersfield Rescue Mission.
If you are a local charity or school, please review our locations and contact the Fastrip store nearest to you. If you are a larger nonprofit and would like to be considered by our Donations Committee, please don't hesitate to contact us through our form.

2025 - Bakerfield Police Department - HalLAWeen!
Fastrip Food Stores proudly participated in the BPD HalLAWeen event, bringing joy to the community. Our team distributed balloons, candy, coupons, and glow-in-the-dark tattoos, creating unforgettable moments for over 8,000 participants. We made a powerful impact on our community. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and our new addition, Dalia the spider, captured the hearts and imaginations of everyone, especially the Spiderman kids.
At Fastrip Food Stores, we strive to create a lasting legacy for future generations and our community. A heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers; your dedication made this achievement possible.
2025 - Annual Easter Egg Hunt - For the Blind & Visually Impaired Students
Each year, the Bakersfield Police Department hosts a heartfelt celebration for students who are blind and visually impaired. The annual Easter Egg Hunt is a beautiful occasion that unites family members for a joyful Easter celebration. Police officers come together to support and assist these remarkable children from Kern County. As a retailer, we are excited to contribute by donating candy, coupons, stickers, and other delightful items to help create a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
