Fastrip History

 

Fastrip started in 1968 as a small dairy store in Bakersfield, California. Initially, we only offered dairy products and a limited selection of grocery items. Within a few years, we added gas and expanded our grocery selection. Following the success of our first location, we began expanding and introducing our concept of great selection, great value, and excellent customer service throughout the Bakersfield area. Following our growth in Bakersfield and Kern County, we expanded north into the Fresno, Sacramento, and Chico areas. We also went south and east into the High Desert, as well as Riverside, San Bernardino, and Coachella. We saw an opportunity in Arizona and opened four locations, including Bullhead City, which has two locations, as well as stores in Casa Grande and Nogales. Our focus was always on identifying underserved markets where we could bring added value to our customers. 

 

There are currently 55 Fastrip stores, all of which include Fastrip fuel, across California and Arizona, with each store offering a complete selection of grocery items, quality gasoline, a variety of snacks and beverages, and 24-hour convenience. We also proudly offer 24 additional Fastrip fueling stations across Arizona, California, and Nevada, expanding the Fastrip brand to 79 fueling locations total.

If customers run out of other grocery essentials, such as sugar, flour, salt, cake mix, or green beans, they will find these items available at Fastrip at reasonable prices.
